DETAIL ITINERARY
Namobuddha Hiking from Fishtail Tours and Travels is considered as most important pilgrimage, scenic, and Cultural hiking. The trip starts from Kathmandu by driving to Panauti nearly 35 Kms and 1 hour of drive. En route, we can witness one of the finest existing specimens of an all-Newari settlement in Kathmandu which boasts of the 15th-century Indreshwar Mahadev Temple and the most important temples associated with Newari culture and a Narayan shrine. After a short visit to historical sites, we drive to Dhapasi near Panauti village, the hiking starting point, and ascend through Newari villages, Paddy fields, and the suspension bridge. The total duration of the trek from Panauti to Namaobuddha may take 4 to 5 hours, depending on hiking speed and other activities on the way. On arrival in Namobuddha, one can enjoy the view of Himalayan ranges, and valleys and visit the stupa. Lunch and drive back to Kathmandu.
