DETAIL ITINERARY
Champadevi is situated at an altitude of 2,300 meter, at the ridge, the west of Kathmandu city. The hill top of Champadevi offers breathtaking views of eastern and mid Himalayan ranges including Langtang and Annapurna ranges. The Champadevi village is also famous for the Buddhist stupa and many Budddist followers visit the stupa everyday. There will be a notable crowd during full moon day. The trip starts by 30 minutes of drive from Kathmandu to Pharping village covering 16 Km. From Pharping village, the hiking trail ascends thru villages and pine forest to Champadevi. The hiking period may vary person to person, but in general it takes 3 to 4 hours. On return we wil follow the same route which takes 1 hour to return Pharping village where the vehicle parking point is.
