KAKANI TO BHANJYANG HIKING from Fishtail Tours and Travels is considered one of the pleasant hiking through oak, rhododendrons, and pine forests. The trip starts from Kathmandu by driving to Kakani which covers 32 kilometers and 1 hour of drive. Kakani is situated at an elevation of 2073 meters. From Kakani, the trail leads towards the east with graveled motor-able road through villages, oak, and rhododendron forests to Bhanjyang. The hiking period will be approx 3 to 4 hours with normal average hiking speeds, which can vary from person to person. The trail is almost flat and there are numerous picnic spots and a small village en -route.
After lunch and strolling around for some time, we hike down to Kakani for about two and a half hours and drive back to Kathmandu.
