DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU [1400m]|Welcoming the guests is our passion | 29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Embarking on our journey begins in Kathmandu, a city with remarkable architecture dating back to the 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you to check in to the hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated, and served in a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby tourist hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar Square. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU |The city of arts and architecture|29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Kathmandu Valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal with a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Kathmandu has been one of the popular destinations for international tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers a wonderful mix of Hinduism and Buddhism. Right after having breakfast, we visit two famous Buddhist Temples- the Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa, Kumari temple- the temple of living goddess, Kasthmandap-the wooden temple built by a single tree, palaces, forts, temples & Holy Ceremonial pole CHIR. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 03: UNESCO HERITAGE SIGHTSEEING | The oldest and most sacred Hindu temple |& THAMEL VISIT
After breakfast, we leave for a UNESCO World Heritage sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath temple– the oldest and most sacred Hindu temple of the world situated on the bank of the Holy Bagmati River where all the dead bodies of the valley are cremated. We can see old temples, and many Hindu priests, Sadhus, devotees etc. We further proceed to Boudhanath Stupa-one of the biggest Stupas in the world, the surrounding area is also known as Little Tibet because this area is covered by Tibetan refugees and is one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps in the valley. We come back to the hotel and take a rest for a while. We visit a nearby tourist hub, Thamel, and explore on our own. Dinner will be arranged at a specialty restaurant in the Thamel area in the late evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 04: FULL DAY HOLI CELEBRATION |The most enjoyable festivals all around the world |
Today we celebrate Holi in 3cities of Kathmandu valley. Holi is regarded as one of the most enjoyable festivals all around the world and is celebrated in the majority of South Asian Nations. Holi is also celebrated to mark the blessings of God for upcoming grain harvests and land fertility. It sometimes falls on the first week of February and mostly falls at the beginning or mid of March at the end of the lunar month on a full moon day. We recommend you put on cozy casual wear with flip flops as we are going to play with colors and water and smudges of the colors could remain on the clothes. We play together with a large group of people around the valley. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 05: FLY TO JANAKPUR |30mins| CELEBRATING HOLI IN TERAI | Terai people celebrate more enthusiastically |
As soon as we are done with breakfast we drive to the airport for a flight to Janakpur. We can see the mesmerizing view of Himalayan ranges and beautiful hilly landscapes on board. Once we arrive at Janakpur we check into the hotel. After getting refreshed we leave for the Terai Holy celebration around Janakpur City. Holi is celebrated in the Terai Region more enthusiastically just after a day people celebrate in the hilly region. We again put on the same comfortable and cozy wears so that we could play with colors and water. In the evening we visit historical monuments- Janakidham temple, BibahMandap, Ganga Sagar, etc. Overnight in Janakpur.
DAY 06: FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU | UNESCO HERITAGE TOUR | Spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newari artists | DRIVE TO NAGARKOT|1hr|[2175m]
As soon as we are done with breakfast we drive to the airport for a flight to Kathmandu. Once we arrive in Kathmandu we proceed to visit UNESCO World Heritage covering Changunarayan temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Changunarayan temple is located on a high hilltop which is surrounded by amazing sculptures and antique arts. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is considered the oldest temple in Nepal. There are four entrances to the temple and these gates are guarded by life-size pairs of animals such as lions, sarabhas, griffins, and elephants on each side of the entrance. Likewise Bhaktapur Durbar Square has significant values in modern arts and architecture which used to be the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. The Durbar Square is surrounded by spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen from several countries. As soon as we are done with the UNESCO visit we drive to another amazing place, Nagarkot (20Kms). In the evening we enjoy the valleys, Himalayas and sunset. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 07: FINAL DEPARTURE |To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever |
We wake up early in the morning to witness the sunrise view at the eastern Himalayan ranges including Mt Everest (8,848 meters). It is good to observe the mesmerizing view of the sunrise when the Sun hits the mountain peak revealing a red color. We return to the hotel in Kathmandu and drive to Tribhuvan International Airport for a flight to the onward journey. This is the last day of your visit. We will drop you off at the airport 3 hrs before the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot. Waving hands and goodbye hugs are just not enough, we tell you to stay in touch with us. This is the way how we feel satisfied by our services.
