DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU [1400m]|Welcoming the guests is our passion | 29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Embarking on our journey begins from Kathmandu, the city with the remarkable architecture dated back to 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you to check in to the hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated and served with a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby touristic hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar square.Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 02: VISIT PATAN KUMBHESHWOR TEMPLE |VISIT GOSAINKUNDA BY HELICOPTER[4460m]Lord Shiva created a lake by piercing a glacier with his trident to obtain the water to quench his thirst after consuming poison gathered from the churning of the oceans |45mins|
We have breakfast in the morning and we proceed to visit Kumbeshwar temple and Patan Durbar Square which isone of the most important UNESCO world heritage sites.The city is full withancient art and architecture where we can see Durbar square, stone temple, Buddhist monasteries and Krishna Mandir. Afterward we take a chartered helicopter flight to Gosaikund. On the way to Gosainkunda we can observe amazing panoramic view of mountain ranges, hilly landscapes and valleys. Hindus believe that people who take bathe in the lake would get rid from sins, pain and grief. Therefore, visiting Gosainkunda on the occasion of Janai Purnima festival is regarded as the most auspicious. Hundreds of Hindu and Buddhist devotees visit Gosainkunda on this day. We can see people taking bath in the sacred river of Gosainkunda.We stay for a while above the height of 4460m and explore it. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 03: GAIJATRA (CARNIVAL) |A carnival of dancing, singing, mirth and laughter| UNESCO HERITAGE SITE TOUR | Guarded by lions, sarabhas, griffins and elephants |
Right after having breakfast we proceed to observe Gaijatra festival around the city and UNESCO heritage site Tour to Changu Narayan Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Gaijatra is a carnival of dancing, singing, mirth and laughter. The festival of cow is celebrated in the Kathmandu Valley to commemorate the death of loved ones. As part of this festival family members of the deceased of the past year send people dressed as cows to parade on the streets. After observing Gaijatra we head to Changu Narayan Temple which is surrounded by amazing sculptures and antique arts. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is considered as the oldest temple of Nepal. There are four entrances to the temple and these gates are guarded by life-size pairs of animals such as lions, sarabhas, griffins and elephants on each side of the entrances.Likewise, Bhaktapur durbar square has its own significant values in a modern arts and architecture which used to be the royal palace of old Bhaktapur Kingdom. The Durbar square is surrounded by spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen over several countries. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 04: ROPAIN JATRA (RICE PLANTING CARNIVAL)| DRIVE TO SAKHU | BOUDHANATH | Happy Rice Planting Carnival Festival |
After having breakfastwe proceed to UNESCO world heritage sightseeing tours program covering Kathmandu Durbar Square (Kumari House), Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple – the holiest Hindu temple situated at the edge of holy Bagmati River and BoudhanathStupa- one of the biggest Stupa in the world. We will have a lunch at the finest restaurant near Boudhanath Stupa. As soon as we are done with it, we observe Ropain Jatra (Rice Planting Carnival) on the Boudhanath Street.The age-old custom of ropain is when farmers plant the first rice saplings. Farmers invite onlookers to the field to lend a hand in ploughing the field, plant rice saplings. In between, the farmers sing traditional ropain songs and songs of heartbreak, love and joy. The day is all about celebrating farming playing in the mud, singing and feasting on curd and beaten rice bring in the fun element and praying to the gods for a good harvest.Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 05: DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO POKHARA [900m] | Along the view of Trishuli & Marshyangdi rivers| 5-6hrs |
After having a breakfast we drive to Pokhara. En route we can see the amazing Trishuli and Marshyangdi rivers flowing down from the mountains, hilly landscapes, beautiful villages and shops.Once we reach Pokhara, we stay in a luxurious hotel at the lake side. In the evening we walk along the bank of Phewa Lake which is the most interesting experience we will ever have. Overnight in Pokhara.
DAY 06: SIGHTSEEING IN POKHARA[900m]Incredibly beautiful Pokhara|31.8oC/7.8oC*|
Pokhara is a globally renowned tourist destination for its natural beauty. After breakfastwe go for a half day city sightseeing. The city is so amazing that wherever we go we see the incredible mountains to the northern side. Moreover, there are lots of other interesting attractions like Devi’s Waterfall, Tibetan Refugee Settlement, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum and Bindabasini Temple. Rest of the day is free for personal activities, Bungee/ Paragliding/ Zip flyer etc. We can also unwind and relax to pamper ourself as there are good spas. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
DAY 07: DRIVE FROM POKHARA TO GORKHA [1001m]3-4hrs| The birthplace of Prithvi Narayan Shah| VIABANDIPUR [1030m]Newari houses, arts and architecture |
As soon as we wake up in morning, we go to the hotel terrace and observe the mesmerizing view of mount Fishtail and Annapurna Ranges. We take some time and enjoy the great morning views. After that we will have breakfast. We leave Pokhara and drive to Gorkha via Bandipur. En route we can see the great Marshyangdi river flowing down from the Himalayas, villages, hilly landscapes, typical Nepalese houses and shops. After some hours of drive we reach Bandipur which offers an amazing stalactites and stalagmites Siddha cave, typical Newari houses, arts and architecture. Then we drive to Gorkha- the Historical palace of 1st Shah Dynasty in order to see how phulpati is being prepared. Gorkha is the birthplace of Prithvi Narayan Shah, who conquered and joined the small states to make one large nation, as well as the home of legendary Gurkhas. Gorkha is also one of the beautiful places and has several finest architectural examples. From Gorkha, we can witness stunning mountain views, green hills with lush forest and gorgeous rivers running down from the mountain.Overnight at hotel in Gorkha.
DAY 08: DRIVE FROM GORKHA TO NAGARKOT[2175m]Along the view of Marshyangdi and Trishuli rivers| 5-6hrs |
Right after having a breakfast we leave for Nagarkot which is a popular hill station nearby Kathmandu valley and is just 20km far. En route we can see amazing hilly landscapes, Marshyangdi and Trishuli riverflowing from the Himalayas, typical Nepalese houses, valleys and some picnic spots. Once we reach Nagarkot, we check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is entirely leisure and relaxation. Overnight in Nagarkot.
DAY 09: NAGARKOT EXPLORATION [2175m]A popular hill station with panoramic mountain views | DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU|
We wake up early in the morning to witness the view of Himalayan ranges including Mt Everest (8,848 meter) and amazing hilly landscapes.We can also enjoy the mesmerizing scene of the great Himalaya ranges right from the hotel terrace. The mountain looks amazing as the Sun hits its peak revealing red color.Nagarkot offers one of the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley with 8 Himalayan ranges. The ranges include Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur, Everest and Numbur along with the views of Kathmandu Valley and Shivapuri National Park. As soon as we are done with the exploration, we drive back to Kathmandu. Evening farewell dinner will be organized at Nepali Restaurant with Cultural dance program.Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 10: FINAL DEPARTURE |To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever |
This is the last day of your visit. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenir to friends and relatives. We will drop you to the airport 3 hrs prior to the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot. Waving hands and goodbye hugs are just not enough, we tell our beloved guests to stay in touch with us. This is the way how we feel satisfied by our services.
