WORLD PEACE STUPA HIKING
World Peace stupa is situated at an altitude of 1,250 meter on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great vantage point which offers the spectacular views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the Pokhara city.
The hiking trip can be started either by boat ride across the lake to the shore near Chisapani and follow stone step , through thick forest to world peace stupa which takes approx one and half hour or starting from Pumdi. Drive about 16 km to Thadekhola River on the Siddhartha highway and climb 40 mints to Pumdi village. The trail follows the ridge south of Phewa lake through the charming villages, forest hike to World Peace Pagoda will take about 25 minutes.
On return we will climb down to the Phewa lake from World Peace Pagoda taking a boat across the lakeside and drive to hotel.
