DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF ARTS & ARCHITECTURE- KATHMANDU [1400m] | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
Our journey of Pashupatinath & Muktinath Temple Tour begins in Kathmandu, a city with remarkable architecture dating back to the 16th Century. Our team representative from Fishtail Tour and Travels will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you check into the hotel. You will be accepted, facilitated, and served in a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby tourist hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar Square.
DAY 02: FULL DAY PILGRIMAGE SIGHTSEEING TOURS | Hail Sambhu, Jay Sambhu | Approx 10hrs | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
On the second day of the Pashupatinath and Muktinath Temple Tour, after breakfast, we leave for a full-day Pilgrimage sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath temple- one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Guheswari temple- Temple of Goddess Parvati & Budhanilkantha Temple – the temple of the Sleeping God Bishnu. We will stop for lunch as per your choice at the most convenient pure vegetarian or general restaurant. After lunch, we proceed to visit Kumari temple- the temple of the living Goddess. Return to hotel & spend overnight.
DAY 03: FULL DAY PILGRIMAGE SIGHTSEEING TOURS | Visiting the ‘Head of Kedarnath Temple’ |Approx 10hrs | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
After breakfast, we start our third day of the Pashupatinath and Muktinath Temple Tour as we leave for full day Pilgrimage Sightseeing tour to Sri Krishna temple located inside Patan Durbar Square- the famous temple of God Sri Krishna, Taleju Bhawani Temple situated inside the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Doleswar Mahadev Temple- the head part of Kedarnath temple & Tallest Statue of Lord Shiva Sanga. Return to hotel and stay overnight.
DAY 04: DRIVE TO POKHARA [900m] | VIA MANAKAMANA [1302m] (31.8oC/7.8oC)
After breakfast, we leave for Pokhara which is 220 Km from the capital city. It takes around 5-6 hrs of smooth drive passing through the valleys, rivers, and terrace fields. On the way, we can also witness the view of different Himalayan ranges. En route, we will visit Manakamana temple by cable car. Manakamana, the goddess of Durga Bhawani is considered as the “wishes-fulfilling goddess”.
After visiting this amazing temple, we leave for Pokhara along with the great view of the Trisuli and Marshyangdi rivers. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will check in to the hotel. In the evening we walk along the shore of Phewa Lake and enjoy the view of Himalayan ranges and sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel which concludes our fourth day of the Pashupatinath and Muktinath Temple Tour.
DAY 05: FLY TO JOMSOM [2743m] (30mins) & DRIVE TO MUKTINATH [3710m] | Mukti means Salvation or Liberation |
From Pokhara, we board an early morning flight to Jomsom. Even on the aircraft, we enjoy splendid views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. After we check in to the hotel we walk to the local Jeep stand for a further journey to Muktinath Temple, a prominent journey of our Muktinath Temple Tour.
Once we arrive at the base of the Muktinath temple, we climb approx. 300 steps to the main temple. We will take a holy bath at 108 holy water spouts known as Muktidhara, which is believed to wash away sins, and after that, we will visit and pray at Jwala Mai temple and other many temples. We come back to Jeep Stand for the return journey back to Jomsom. Overnight stay at the hotel at Jomsom.
DAY 06: FLY TO POKHARA [30mins] & SIGHTSEEING IN POKHARA [900m] | Incredibly beautiful Pokhara | (31.8oC/7.8oC)
We go early morning walk to the airport for the flight to Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara, we will be transferred to the hotel with the help of a team representative. Pokhara is a globally renowned tourist destination for its natural beauty and amazing temples. After getting refreshed we will walk outside for city sightseeing covering Seti River Gorge, Bindhyabasini temple, Devi’s Fall also known as Patale Chhango, Tal Barahi Temple (in the middle of the Fewa Lake) & Mahadev Cave. The rest of the day is free for personal activities and exploration. Return to hotel, dinner, and stay overnight ending the sixth day of the Pashupatinath and Muktinath Temple Tour.
DAY 07: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU [1400m] | About 200 km drive | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu coming nearer to the ending of the Pashupatinath and Muktinath Temple Tour. The entire day in the capital is free for shopping and relaxation. In the evening farewell dinner will be organized at a Nepali restaurant with a cultural dance program. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 08: FINAL DEPARTURE | To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever.
This is the last day of your visit. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenirs for friends and relatives as a memory of the Pashupatinath and Muktinath Temple Tour. We will drop you off at the airport 3 hrs before the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot.
