DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF ARTS & ARCHITECTURE- KATHMANDU [1400m] | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
Our journey on Pashupatinath, Muktinath, Devghat, Tribenidham, Damodarkund, Janaki Mandir, Gosaikund, and Lumbini Tour begins in Kathmandu, a city with remarkable architecture dating back to the 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you check into the hotel. You will be accepted, facilitated, and served in a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby tourist hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar Square.
DAY 02: FULL DAY PILGRIMAGE SIGHTSEEING TOURS | Hail Sambhu, Jay Sambhu | Approx 10hrs | | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
After breakfast, we leave for a full-day Pilgrimage sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath temple- one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to lord Shiva, Guheswari temple- Temple of Goddess Parvati &, Budhanilkantha Temple- the temple of the Sleeping God Bishnu. We stop for lunch as per your choice of yours at the most convenient pure vegetarian or general restaurant. After lunch, we proceed to visit Kumari temple-the temple of the living Goddess. Return to the hotel & overnight and end the second day of our tour to different religious sites like Muktinath, Devghat, etc.
DAY 03: FULL DAY PILGRIMAGE SIGHTSEEING TOURS | Visiting the ‘Head of Kedarnath Temple’ |Approx 10hrs | (29.9oC/3.2oC)
After breakfast, we leave for full day Pilgrimage Sightseeing tour to Sri Krishna temple located inside Patan Durbar Square-the famous temple of God Sri Krishna, Taleju Bhawani Temple situated inside the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Doleswar Mahadev Temple- the head part of Kedarnath temple & Tallest Statue of Lord Shiva Sanga. Return to hotel and overnight.
DAY 04: DRIVE TO POKHARA [900m] | VIA MANAKAMANA [1302m] | (31.8oC/7.8oC)
After breakfast, we leave for Pokhara which is 220 Km from the capital city. It takes around 5 hrs of smooth drive passing through the valleys, rivers, and terrace fields. On the way, we can also witness the view of different Himalayan ranges. En route, we visit Manakamana temple by cable car. Manakamana, the goddess of Durga Bhawani is considered a “wishes-fulfilling goddess”.
After visiting this amazing temple, we leave for Pokhara along with the great view of the Trisuli and Marshyangdi rivers. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we check into the hotel. In the evening we walk along the shore of Phewa Lake and enjoy the view of Himalayan ranges and sunset. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 05: FLY TO JOMSOM [2743m] |30mins| & DRIVE TO MUKTINATH [3710m] | Mukti means Salvation or Liberation |
From Pokhara, we board an early morning flight to Jomsom. Even on the aircraft, we enjoy splendid views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. After we check in to the hotel we walk to the local Jeep stand for a further journey to Muktinath. Once we arrive at the base of the Muktinath temple, we climb approx 300 steps to the main temple. We take holy baths at 108 holy water spouts and visit and pray at Jwala Mai temple and other many temples. We come back to Jeep Stand for a return journey to Jomsom. Overnight at a hotel in Jomsom.
DAY 06: CHARTERED HELICOPTER FLIGHT TO DAMODARKUND [4890m] | The head of lord Bishnu | 30mins | & FLY TO POKHARA | Barahi temple in the middle of the lake [45mins] (31.8oC/7.8oC)
Right after breakfast, we walk to the airport for a chartered helicopter flight towards Damodar Kund. Damodar Kund is a source of the giant Kaligandaki River which is considered the head of lord Bishnu. During the flight, we can enjoy the mesmerizing view of various mountain peaks and hilly landscapes. Once we reach Damodar Kund, we take a holy bath and make a Puja and worship or darshan. As soon as we are done with all the religious activities we then return to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara by scheduled flight. On arrival in Pokhara, we will be transferred to the hotel with the help of a team representative.
Pokhara is a globally renowned tourist destination for its natural beauty and amazing temples. After getting refreshed we walk outside for city sightseeing covering Seti Gorge, Bindhyabasini Temple, Barahi Temple in the middle of the Fewa Lake, Devis Fall also known as Patale Chhango, Barahi Temple (in the middle of the Fewa Lake) & Mahadev Cave. The rest of the day is free for personal activities and self-exploration. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara and also memorize the memories of the trip towards Devghat, Pashupatinath.
DAY 07: DRIVE TO LUMBINI [150m] The birthplace of Gautama Buddha | 5hrs | (37.2oC/8.6oC)
After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini via Tansen (190 Km). We can witness amazing snake-shaped roads along with beautiful valleys, hilly landscapes, and paddy fields on the way to our destination. Once we arrive in Lumbini we check in to the hotel. In the afternoon we visit and praat y various temples and monasteries including the Mayadevi temple, eternal fla,g, etc. Overnight stay in the hotel and prepare for next day travel towards Devghat, Triveni Dham.
DAY 08: DRIVE TO JANAKPUR DHAM [74m] | 34.8oC/9.1oC| VIA DEVGHAT& TRIVENI DHAM | Through the junction of two huge rivers | 7hrs | (36.4oC/9.7oC)
Early in the morning, we drive to Janakpurdham via Devghat and Trivenidham (27 km). Devghat is one of the famous religious places for Hindus. It is also home to various temples and caves. We can see the junction of two huge rivers, Narayani and Kaligandaki. Devotees take a bath first and worship. Once we are done with puja and arati we leave for Janakpurdham and check in to the hotel. In the evening we join Arati Puja at Ram Janaki temple. Overnight stay in the hotel and conclude the visit to Devghat and Tribenidham.
DAY 09: TEMPLE TOUR IN JANAKPURDHAM [74m] | The remarkable piece of architecture| The place where the Lord Sita was born | Approx 10 hrs | (34.8oC/9.1oC)
After breakfast, we leave for a local temple tour to Ram Janaki temple, Bibah Mandap, Hanuman temple, Ganga Sagar lake, etc. Janaki Mandir is one of the finest examples of Koiri architecture in Nepal. This temple is built in bright white and constructed in the area of 4860 sq feet in a mixed style of Mughal and Koiri domes. After visiting all the amazing temples we return to the hotel. Once we are done with our lunch we can go for self-exploration. Overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 10: FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU [1400m] |(29.9oC/3.2oC)
After breakfast, we check out and transfer to the airport for a flight to Kathmandu. We arrive in Kathmandu and we will be transferred to the hotel again. The rest of the day is free for personal activities and self-exploration. In the evening farewell dinner will be organized at a Nepali restaurant with a cultural dance program. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 11: CHARTERED HELICOPTER FLIGHT TO GOSAIKUND [4460m] | Lord Shiva created a lake by piercing a glacier with his trident to obtain the water to quench his thirst after consuming poison gathered from the churning of the oceans | 15-20mins |
After breakfast, we are off to the airport for a chartered helicopter flight to Gosaikund. Gosainkunda (Holy Shiva’s lake) is a particularly sacred place of pilgrimage. Lots of religious devotees come to this place in summer (especially on the day of JanaiPurnima, which is one of the popular festivals of Hindus). According to Hindu mythology, lord Shiva created a lake by piercing a glacier with his trident to obtain the water to quench his thirst after consuming poison gathered from the churning of the oceans.
We take a holy bath; and attend puja or darshan on the holy lake. We can also walk around the lake if we have spare time otherwise we return to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for personal activities and self-exploration. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 12: FINAL DEPARTURE | To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever.
This is the last day of your visit to different religious places in Nepal including Devghat, Tribenidham, and others. with Fishtail Tours and Travels. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenirs for friends and relatives. We will drop you off at the airport 3 hrs before the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot.
