DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF ARTS & ARCHITECTURE- KATHMANDU [1400m] | Welcoming the guests is our passion |29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Embarking on our journey begins in Kathmandu, a city with remarkable architecture dating back to the 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you to check in to the hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated, and served in a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby tourist hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar Square. We collect your original passport for the Application for a Chinese Visa. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU | The city of arts and architecture| 29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Kathmandu Valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal with a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Kathmandu has been one of the popular destinations for international tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers a wonderful mix of Hinduism and Buddhism. Right after having breakfast, we are off to visit one of the greatest Hindu temples- Pashupatinath, another famous Buddhist Temple- the Boudhanath Stupa. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 03: DRIVE TO / NAGARKOT [2,100M] | Destination for hikers and trekkers | VIA BHAKTAPUR
After breakfast, we will proceed for our next city-guided tour destination to Nagarkot, a popular hill station which is situated at 2100m from sea level and is famous for the sunset and sunrise views. It is 32 km away from Kathmandu city and is a one-night destination for hikers and trekkers as well as people who love to see mountains from a distance. Before reaching Nagarkot we will first tour Bhaktapur Durbar Square, A UNESCO World Heritage Site & home to the vibrant Newari culture, this is also the city of festivals. The 55 windows palace, the tallest pagoda in Nepal, the Pottery Square, and the museums in Bhaktapur have made it the best palace in Nepal. After that, we continue our drive to Nagarkot. Once we arrive we check into the hotel. Overnight in Nagarkot.
DAY 04: DRIVE TO AIRPORT | FLY TO LHASA & FREE DAY |3656m| Panoramic view of Himalayan ranges | 1HR15MINS |
In the early morning, we observe the sunrise view from the hotel. As soon as we are done with breakfast we drive to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch a flight to Lhasa. During the flight to Lhasa, we can enjoy the panoramic view of Himalayan ranges, lush jungles, amazing hilly landscapes, and natural sceneries. Once we land at Lhasa Airport our team representative will welcome and escort you to your designated hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated, and served in a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby tourist hubs and other tourist attractions. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 05: LHASA SIGHTSEEING Potala Palace is the treasure of Tibetan religion and culture, storing plenty of figures of the Buddha|
After having breakfast we begin sightseeing by visiting the beautiful Potala Palace which was built in the 17th century. The palace provides amazing views of the entire city and houses the private quarters of the Dalai Lama, numerous grand state rooms, and chapels. Jokhang Temple is another important sacred site that unravels more deep-seated mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism. We further stroll through Barkhor Bazaar (market). With its open-air stalls, shops, and crowd of pilgrims, it is the nerve center of Lhasa. Finally, return to the hotel & overnight in Lhasa.
DAY 06: LHASA SIGHTSEEING | The biggest Buddhist College in Tibet |
As soon as we are done with breakfast we begin our Lhasa sightseeing trip to Drepung monastery which used to serve as the government center in Tibet until the fifth Dalai Lama moved to the famous Potala Palace. It is the biggest Buddhist college in Tibet and once home to more than 10000 monks. Afternoon, we drive to Sera Monastery. Sera Monastery is a preserved monastery with white-washed walls and golden roofs. Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 07: DRIVE LHASA TO GYANTSE AND SIGHTSEEING [3,950m] | Turquoise Lake, one of the holiest lakes in Tibet |5-6HRS|
After having breakfast, we drive towards Gyantse which is 259 km away. We drive via Khamba La Pass (4,794m) and savor the views of Yomdrok-Tso (Turquoise Lake), one of the holiest lakes in Tibet. We also witness the spectacular view of Mt. Nazin Kang Sa (7,252m) along our path. Further to the west, we come across another pass, Karo La (5045m) from where we get great views of the majestic glaciers. Upon reaching Gyantse, we visit the Khumbum Stupa, Phalkot Monaster,y, and Gyantse Dzong (fortress), which is one of the best-preserved Dzongs in Tibet. Overnight stay at Gyantse.
DAY 08: DRIVE TO SHIGATSE AND SIGHTSEEING [3900M] | Captivating mountain landscape | 2 HRS |
As soon as we are done with our breakfast we drive from Gyantsy to Shigatse which is 95 KM ahead. As we continue our drive to Shigatse enjoying and captivating mountain landscape along the way. We visit the most popular landmark of Shigatse, the Tashilhunpo Monastery, which holds both historical and cultural importance for being founded by GendunDrup, the first Dalai Lama in 1447. Overnight in Shigatse.
DAY 09: DRIVE FROM LHASA SHIGATSE TO RONBUK MONASTERY |4,980| Claimed to be the highest-elevation monastery in the world | 7hrs|
Right after having breakfast,t we drive to Everest Base Camp which is 350 km away. En- route we can enjoy the beautiful Tibetan landscape, typical local Tibetan villages, etc. After some hours of driving, we arrive the at famous Ronbuk monastery. Rongbuk is claimed to be the highest-elevation monastery in the world. The monastery was also regularly visited by the early expeditions to Mount Everest in the 1920s and 1930s after a five-week journey from Darjeeling in the Indian foothills of the Himalayas. Our team representative co-operates with you to check in to the Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 10: DRIVE OR HIKE TO EVEREST BASE CAMP AND BACK TO RONGBUK | Amazing Qomolongma |
We will hike for around 2 hours from Rongbuk Monastery to reach the northern base camp of the highest peak Mount Everest also known as Qomolongma in Tibetan/Or we can also drive 8 km and trek around the base camp area. Hiking or driving can be decided as per the client’s interest. We will explore the area, take pictures of the highest peak, visit the Rongbuk Glacier, and return to Rongbuk before sunset. Overnight stay at guest house.
DAY 11: FROM RONGBUK DRIVE TO KYRUNG [1895M] |7-8HRS|
After having breakfast we’ll drive from Rongbuk to the Kyirong border which is around 335km away. On the way, we can witness the far view of Mt. Shishapangma and the Pekutso Lake. After passing the Ghungtang Lhamo (5236 M), we’ll arrive in Kyirong in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in the Kyrung.
DAY 12 : DRIVE FROM KYRUNG TO KATHMANDU |29.9oC/3.2oC*| VIA SYABRUBESI | Fulfilling immigration formalities |8-9hrs|
After having breakfast we drive to Kathmandu via Nepal / China border. The border is just 20 Km away and takes30 minutess of drive. Our team member helps to complete the China side immigration formalities and we cross the border by walking for about 10 minutes. Again we have to complete immigration formalities. After the completion of immigration formalities, you will be picked up and driven to Kathmandu which is 140km away. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 13: LEISURE DAY IN KATHMANDU VALLEY [1400m] | The city of arts and architecture | 29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Today is an extra day for relaxing and enjoying Kathmandu. We can go shopping, body massaging, spa treatments, or sightseeing OR we can go to Pubs in Thamel (the central tourist hub of Kathmandu) and enjoy live music (English and Nepali) with beer or our favorite drinks. As we are blessed with the successful accomplishment of our expedition, therefore, whatever we do, we will find an incredible taste. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 14: FINAL DEPARTURE | To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever.
This is the last day of your visit. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenirs for friends and relatives. We will drop at the airport 3 hours before the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot. Waving hands and goodbye hugs are just not enough, we tell our beloved guests to stay in touch with us. This is the way how we feel satisfied by our services.
