DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU [1400m] Welcoming the guests is our passion | 29.9oC/3.2oC* |
Embarking on our journey begins from Kathmandu, the city with the remarkable architecture dated back to 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you to check in to the hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated and served with a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby touristic hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar square.
DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU VALLEY [1400m] The city of arts and architecture | 29.9oC/3.2oC* |
Kathmandu valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers a wonderful mix of Hinduism and Buddhism. After breakfast we visit UNESCO world heritage sites as one of the largest Hindu temple Pashupatinath Temple, and two famous Buddhist stupas; Bouddha Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa. We visit two more UNESCO world heritage sites, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square right after lunch. Back to hotel, rest for the remaining day. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 03: DRIVE TO PANAUTI | A small state given by King Bhupatindra Malla as a dowry to his sister | 1hr | NAMOBUDHA HIKING | A home of more than 250 monks | 3-4hrs |
Right after breakfast we drive to Panauti which is just 30 km far from the capital city. Panauti valley is an ancient Newari village town. Panauti was a small state given by King Bhupatindra Malla as a dowry to his sister and has a few prominent icons, such as the Indreswor temple and Panauti (Layaku) Durbar Square found in the town center. It is situated at the confluence of the two rivers Rosi and Punyamati, has been regarded as an important religious site since very early times. In Nepali society, such rivers are considered to be sacred. Therefore, it is believed that the visitors can feel to be freed from many sins and anxieties. After visiting Panauti we hike to Namobudda. Namobuddha is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites which is now a home of more than 250 monks. We visit stupa and also enjoy the view of Himalaya and valley. After lunch we drive to Dhulikhel. Rest of the day is free to explore ancient Newari arts and architecture in Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel also offers typical Nepalese houses, beautiful hilly landscapes, great view of panoramic mountains and some picnic spots. Overnight stay in Dhulikhel.
DAY 04: UNESCO HERITAGE TOUR | Gates are guarded by lions, sarabhas, griffins and elephants on each side of the entrances | & DRIVE TO NAGARKOT [2175m] | 45mins |
We wake up early in the morning in order to enjoy the view of Himalayan sun rise. The mountain looks amazing as the Sun hits its peak revealing the red in color. Right after having breakfast we leave for UNESCO World Heritage sightseeing tour covering the ancient Hindu temple Changunarayan which is located on a high hilltop. The temple is surrounded by amazing sculptures and antique arts which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is considered as the oldest temple of Nepal. There are four entrances to the temple and these gates are guarded by life-size pairs of animals such as lions, sarabhas, griffins and elephants on each side of the entrances. We also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square which was founded in 889 AD. The old palace square of Bhaktapur contains famous “Fifty-five windows palace”. It was the royal palace of Malla kings then. The golden gate in this square is the unique master piece of the Newari art work. This old square is like an open museum of Hindu temples. The other famous sites are the ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju shrine; the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window and the Dattatreya temple .You can feel the mythical air of timelessness in Bhaktapur. After lunch we drive to Nagarkot and enjoy the scenic view of valley, sunset and golden Himalayas. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
DAY 05: DRIVE FROM NAGARKOT TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK [100m] | Tharu cultural dance program | 6hrs |
We wake up early in the morning in order to enjoy the view of Himalayan sun rise including Mount Everest and other ranges. The mountain looks amazing as the Sun hits its peak revealing the red in color. After having breakfast we drive towards Chitwan National Park which is 195 km. En route, we enjoy the view of the mountains, rivers, beautiful valleys, amazing hilly landscapes, primitive shops and typical Nepalese houses. As soon as we reach Chitwan National Park we check in to Jungle camp or Resort followed by lunch. In the evening we walk a little bit around local villages & enjoy the sunset over the jungle as its background. In the late evening we enjoy Tharu cultural dance program followed by Dinner and local drinks. Overnight stay in Chitwan National Park.
DAY 06: FULL DAY IN CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK [100m] | The grassy land and Sal forest has dominated this park and it is also the habitats for variety of bird species | 36.4oC/9.7oC* |
After breakfast we enjoy the Elephant back safari inside the jungle to see the famous one-horned rhinos of Asia, wild boars different kinds of deer. If we are lucky we may have an opportunity to see tiger and many more wild animals. The grassy land and Sal forest has dominated this park and it is also the habitats for variety of bird species including Oriental Honey Buzzard, Crested Serpent Eagle etc. We return back to hotel and have Lunch. After lunch, we go cannoying at Rapti River to see the crocodiles, afterward visit Elephant breeding center. In the evening we visit around local village and spend time on our own. Overnight stay in Chitwan National Park.
DAY 07: DRIVE TO KHARE VIA POKHARA | 6hrs | HIKE TO AUSTRALIAN BASE CAMP [2055m] One of the best view points to see western Himalayan ranges and beautiful valleys | 1-2hrs |
As soon as we are done with breakfast we leave for Khare via Pokhara which is 175km far. We pass through the valleys, rivers, terraces fields and sometimes viewing different Himalayan ranges. On the way we can witness local villagers working on their paddy fields, beautiful hilly landscapes, primitive shops etc. Lunch will be served once we reach Pokhara. When we reach Khare we hike to Australian Camp which is one of the best view points to see western Himalayan ranges and beautiful valleys. Arrive Australian camp and check in to camp/ lodge. We enjoy rest of the time observing Himalayas and the beautiful sunset. Overnight stay in Australian Base Camp.
DAY 08: AUSTRALIAN BASE CAMP TO DHAMPUS [1700m] & DRIVE TO POKHARA [900m] 31.8oC/7.8oC* | 1hr | Incredibly beautiful Pokhara |
We wake up early in the morning and enjoy the golden panoramic view of Himalayan ranges and the Sun rise as the Sun hits peak revealing the red in color. After breakfast we hike down to Dhampus village. Dhampus is a traditional village where we can witness the mesmerizing view of Himalayan ranges, beautiful rice terraces and amazing villages view. Lunch will be served in Dhampus village. After lunch we drive to Pokhara. En route we can see some amazing hilly landscapes, typical Nepalese houses and primitive shops. We arrive Pokhara and check in to hotel. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 09: POKHARA CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR [900m] 31.8oC/7.8oC* | The city of Amusement |
Pokhara is a globally renowned tourist destination for its natural beauty. After breakfast we go for a half day city sightseeing. Firstly, we visit Fewa Lake where we see the reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhre if the weather is clear. The lake also offers beautiful Varahi Temple which is located in the middle of it. Other interesting destinations are Devi’s Waterfall, Tibetan Refugee Settlement, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum and Bindabasini Temple. Rest of the day is free for personal activities, Bungee/ Paragliding/ Zip flyer etc. We can also unwind and relax to pamper our self as there are good spas. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
DAY 10: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU [1400m] Along the view of Marshyangdi and Trishuli Rivers | 29.9oC/3.2oC * | 5-6hrs |
After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. En route we can see down the beautiful view of Marshyangi and Trishuli rivers flowing all the way from the mountains, beautiful hilly landscapes, primitive shops, resorts, typical Nepalese houses and paddy fields. When we reach the capital city, the entire day in the capital is free for shopping and relaxation. In the evening, farewell dinner will be organized at Nepali restaurant with cultural dance program. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
DAY 11: FINAL DEPARTURE | To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever.
This is the last day of your visit. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenir to friends and relatives. We will drop you to the airport 3 hrs prior to the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot. Waving hands and goodbye hugs are just not enough, we tell you to stay in touch with us, and this is how we feel satisfied by our services.
