Dhampus village is situated at an altitude of 1,750 meter north west of Pokhara valley which is a famous beautiful ethnic Gurung village of brave soldier, Gorkha. The village offers scenic panoramic views of Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna, Mt Fishtail, Mt Himchuli, Lamjung Himal and many other mountains with the beautiful views of green hills, valley, etc. Almost 25% of the tourists, who come to Nepal visit Dhampus and leave with many fond memories of the village and its friendly people. Dhampus is a gateway to Annapurna Conservation Area. It is also serves as one of the main entry points to the Annapurna Base Camp and other trekking trails of Annapurna Region.

The trip starts from our hotel by surface driving to Phedi covering 10 Km and 30 minutes of drive. From Phedi, we accent steep upward for 45 minutes to 1 hour hike that leads to lower Dhampus.  From lower Dhampus, we gradually accent thru paddy field, forest, villages to Dhampus village. The hike may take one and half hour to reach the main village.  Lunch will be served enjoying the sceneries; mountain views & drive back to Pokhara by 4 wheel drive vehicle.
