DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Once you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, look out for our representative, who will be holding a placard with your name on it. After a short drive, you will be in your hotel, Our tour officer will help you complete all the check-in procedures and brief you about the tour itinerary. In the evening, you can head over to Thamel, the main tourist hub, where you can have a good time at a bar or a club. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Today, you get to kick-start your cultural discovery! We have a lot of sightseeing in store for you, starting with Kathmandu, the nerve center of Nepal. It flaunts its rich history and vibrant culture in every possible nook and cranny. Visit Pashupatinath Temple. According to religious belief, Lord Pashupatinath is the almighty God and savior of all human beings. It is, therefore, said that all Hindus should pay homage to Lord Pashupatinath at least once in their lifetime for their eternal peace and salvation.
Make your way to the largest stupa in the world, Boudhanath Stupa, built in the fifth century. Before the present day Stupa was built, it was an overnight camp of Tibetan businessmen. Today, it is the best site to observe the Tibetan lifestyle, culture, and religious practices of monks. It is also popular for Tibetan Jewelry, hand-woven carpets, thangka, masks, khukuri, knives, and other Tibetan products.
Continue towards Patan Durbar Square– the center of Fine art. Patan Durbar Square As you walk past the whitewashed gate, you enter a square lined with cafes, grocery stores, and huge iron bells. Still beyond the alleys lie mostly medieval neighborhoods of the city. Temples and Stupas are in abundance, in various shapes, sizes, and antiquity. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
Following breakfast, our adventure begins with a scenic drive to Pokhara (210km, 5- 6 hrs drive), offering views of rivers, terrace fields, and captivating views of the Annapurna range as you near the city- a scenic lake city. (En-route visit to Manakamana Devi Temple by cable car). Feel free to take a stroll through the city in the evening or relax by the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 04: Sarangkot with Pokhara sightseeing tour
A short drive before the crack of dawn takes you to Sarangkot to witness the most amazing sunrise over the panoramic view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and the Manaslu mountain range. You can paraglide in Sarangkot as the option is available on request. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Proceed for a visit to Bindhabasini Temple, dedicated to goddess Durga- the deity of supreme power- right in the center of the bazaar.
The 16th century architecture is sure to delight you. Davis falls, or “Patale Changgo” in Nepali, is an underground waterfall. The water flows under the ground through its natural tunnel of 500 feet from the fall made by the water currents beneath the land. Move towards Mahadev Cave, also known as Gupteshwor Cave, a limestone cave with its shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The cave is said to have been discovered in the 16th Century. Watch the Seti Gorge standing atop the Mahendra Pul. Flowing right through the city, the river runs completely underground at places. There’s a lot more to do in Pokhara; just stride down to the lakeside area in the evening. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your respective hotel. The rest of the time is free at leisure on your own. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 06: Depart Kathmandu
Our cheerful representative will drop you off to the airport three hours prior to the flight departure. The mystic land of the Himalayas holds many more secrets to be told. Come back again for another adventure visiting our spectacular mountains.
