DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF ARTS & ARCHITECTURE- KATHMANDU [1400m]|Welcoming the guests is our passion | 29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Embarking on our journey begins from Kathmandu, the city with the remarkable architecture dated back to 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you to check in to the hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated and served with a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby touristic hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar square. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU |The city of arts and architecture|29.9oC/3.2oC*|
Today is a big day for you as you finally get to kick-start your cultural discovery! We have a lot of sightseeing in store for you starting with Kathmandu, the nerve-center of Nepal. It flaunts its rich history and vibrant culture in every possible nook and cranny. Kathmandu Durbar Square is rich with ancient palaces with spectacular art and architecture whereas Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest places for Hindus. We then make our way to the largest stupa in the world: Boudhanath Stupa followed by Swayambhunath Temple. Swayambhunath meaning the “the self-existent” is popular among foreigners owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. No wonder why it’s also called “Monkey Temple”. Make sure you keep an eye out for these notorious creatures. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 03: DRIVE TO NAGARKOT|2175m| EN ROUTE BHAKTAPUR TOUR |The brick-laden walkways and intricately carved out temples| 29.9oC/3.2oC*|1hr|
After breakfast transfer to Nagarkot- a famous hill station, with an hour and half drive offering views of the Nepalese countryside. En route we have a chance to discover Bhaktapur, City of Devotees. It isa UNESCO heritage site, an ancient city that has a rustic charm and is home to the larger population of “Newars” in the valley. The brick-laden walkways, intricately carved out temples give you an insight of times gone by. Built in the 17th century, the Nyatapol Temple still stands strong today. Peek at the 55 embellished windows, as the Golden Gate gives us access to the inner areas of the palace. The numerous pagoda styled temples and monuments that dot the square, gives a perfect example of the expressive and complex design of Nepalese architecture back in ages of the medieval times. We can grab a few locally produced handicrafts before we depart as memorabilia and gifts for our loved ones.Overnight in Nagarkot.
DAY 04: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU EN ROUTE KIRTIPUR TOUR |Newari town of located on a hill southwest of Kathmandu |1hr|
In the early morning we enjoy the amazing sunrise at Nagarkot, with the view of spectacular snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas that is simply breathtaking; the panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley below is an added bonus. We can grab some breakfast aswe head back to Kathmandu on the way we visit the off the beaten Newari town of Kirtipur located on a hill southwest of Kathmandu. Here we can discover the traditional lifestyle of the local Newar people of Kirtipur along with the rich cultural heritage it boasts. We drive back to Kathmandu. Spend our time to buy some locally produced handicrafts that make good memorabilia and gifts for our loved ones; we grab a few before we depart or just unwind and pamper ourselves. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening. We can pick our meal from carefully crafted menu that offers a wide range of choices. We can also try the traditional Nepalese cuisine. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 05: FINAL DEPARTURE |To know how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever |
This is the last day of your visit. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenir to friends and relatives. We will drop you to the airport 3 hrs prior to the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot. Waving hands and goodbye hugs are just not enough, we tell our beloved guests to stay in touch with us. This is the way how we feel satisfied by our services.
