3 Nights in Kathmandu, 1 Night in Nagarkot


Tour Glimpse of Nepal cover seven UNESCO world heritage sites and beautiful hill station Nagarkot – most popular hill stations from where one can enjoy the view of the highest point of the world- Mt Everest (8,888 m) at sunrise. This tour is also a historical and cultural tour of Nepal and one can be very close with real culture and lifestyle of Nepal and its citizen. Beside the popular sites tour one can be involved in various night life as casinos discotheques, shopping in world renowned shopping mall etc during this tour.





Meet and greet upon arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel. Traditional tika ceremony upon arrival, check into the hotel, tour briefing followed by welcome drink. Late evening enjoy dinner in Nepalese restaurant with local dance, overnight at Hotel.


After breakfast leave for full-day tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa & Patan Durbar Square. All these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site.

Kathmandu Durbar square which is also known as Hanuman Dhoka or Kumari temple (temple of living goddess). In this area you will visit Kumari temple- temple of living goddess, Kasthmandap-the wooden temple built by a single tree, palaces, forts, temples & many more historical sites. Swayambhunath Stupa-almost 2000 years old Stupa situated on a hillock offer breathtaking view of whole Kathmandu valley with eastern Himalayan ranges. Lunch at Patan museum café. After lunch, proceed for tour to Patan Durbar Square– the city of art and architecture where you can see Durbar square, stone temple, Buddhist monasteries etc. Late evening enjoy dinner at Baithak restaurant, Babarmahal. Overnight at Hotel.


After breakfast leave for sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath & Bodhnath, both are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. Pashupatinath temple– the oldest and most sacred Hindu temple of the world situated on the bank of Holy Bagmati River where all the dead bodies of the valley is cremated. In this area you will see dead body being cremated, old temples, many Hindu priests etc. We further proceed to Boudhanath Stupa-one of the biggest and oldest stupa of the world, the surrounding area also known as little Tibet because this area is covered by Tibetan refugees and is one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Lunch at Restaurant in Bouddha. Restday free. Late evening, enjoy dinner at Krishnarpan restaurant, Hotel Dwarika. Overnight at Hotel.


After breakfast, proceed for tour to Bhaktapur– was founded in 889 AD. It is 13 km east from Kathmandu.The old palace square of Bhaktapur contains famous “Fifty-five windows palace”. It was the royal palace of Malla kings then. The golden gate in this square is the unique master piece of the Nawari art work in the whole of NEPAL. This old square is like an open museum of Hindu temples. The other famous sites are the ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju shrine; the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window and the Dattatraya temple .You can feel the mythical air of timelessness in Bhaktapur. Lunch will be served at Café Nyatapola, Bhaktapur. After lunch, start drive to Nagarkot and enjoy the scenic view of valley, sunset and golden Himalayas. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.                           

DAY 05: DEPARTURE                                                                                                                  

Today, wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise on the Himalayan ranges including Mount Everest on a clear day. If time permit walk around the village to know the day to day life of Nepali villagers. After breakfast drive to Tribhuwan International Airport for flight to onward journey with beautiful memories of Nepal.
