The followers of Buddha, Jaina and Sikha equally respect him. The Shivaratri festival’s day is dedicated to the Lord of the Lords, Lord Shiva or Mahadev. Shivaratri is celebrated in the honor of Lord Shiva. Shivaratri festival is a much-anticipated festival by all Hindus which is celebrated on the occasion of Lord Shiva’s birthday. Shivaratri festival is perhaps one of the most spectacular festivals of the year as it attracts people from all over Nepal, the northern regions of India, South East Asian countries as Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia. Lord Shiva is the most worshipped God in the Hindu religion and all the Hindu population has the belief that Lord Shiva lives in Mt. Kailash in the Himalayas. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1,350 m),
Meet and greet upon arrival at the International airport and transfer to hotel. Traditional Buddhist welcome ceremony upon arrival, check into the hotel, tour briefing followed by a welcome drink. Late evening enjoy dinner in Nepalese restaurant with local dance, overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Panchmrit Puja at Pashupatinath/ Pilgrimage Tour,
Early morning proceed to Pashupatinath temple for special Panchamrit Puja. Afterward proceed to Guheswari temple (Most important Shakti Pith), Puja at the temple and proceed to Bouddhanath stupa after a short visit to Charumati Vihar. Lunch and proceed to Visit Budhanilakanth (Sleeping Vishnu) temple. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 03: Full day Shivaratri Puja at Pashupatinath Temple,
Today, we will spare full day for Shivaratri Puja at Pashupatinath temple. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 04: Pilgrimage Sightseeing Tour,
Breakfast and proceed to Doleswar Mahadev Temple (Part of Kedarnath temple, India). After puja at the temple proceed to visit the tallest statue of Lord Shiva, Sanga, Changunarayan Temple-the ancient temple of Lord Vishnu recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage site & Bhaktapur Durbar Square which was founded in 889 AD. is 13 KM east from Kathmandu. The old palace square of Bhaktapur contains famous “Fifty-five windows palace”. It was the royal palace of Malla kings then. The golden gate in this square is the unique masterpiece of the Nawari artwork in the whole of NEPAL. This old square is like an open museum of Hindu temples. The other famous sites are the ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju Bhawani temple; the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window and the Dattatraya temple. You can feel the mythical air of timelessness in Bhaktapur. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 05: Pilgrimage Tour- Sleeping Vishnu/ Soyambhunath & Patan,
Breakfast and proceed for Pilgrimage and UNESCO world heritage sightseeing tour to Budhanilakantha Temple- Known as Sleeping Vishnu temple, Soyambhunath Stupa- one of the oldest stupa of the valley recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage site and Patan Durbar Square including Famous Sri Krishna temple known as stone temple which is also recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage site. Return to hotel, evening farewell dinner will be organized at Nepali Restaurant with cultural program. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Final Departure,
Breakfast and timely transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for the flight onward journey with beautiful memories of Nepal.
