Tour Glimpse of Nepal cover seven UNESCO world heritage sites and beautiful hill station Nagarkot – most popular hill stations from where one can enjoy the view of the highest point of the world- Mt Everest (8,888 m) at sunrise. This tour is also a historical and cultural tour of Nepal and one can be very close with real culture and lifestyle of Nepal and its citizen. Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to the Hotel,

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing -Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Stupa, Thamel visit & Cultural Program,

Day 03: Drive to Nagarkot en-route Patan Durbar Square & Bhaktapur Durbar Square (35 KM/ 1.5 hr drive),

Day 04: Kathmandu sightseeing – Pashupatinath Temple & departure transfer for onward journey.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu,
Arrive at Kathmandu International airport. Meet, welcome, and assist by our office representative & transfer to hotel. Welcome drink, followed by tour briefing. After get refreshed dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Dinner at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour, Thamel Visit & Nepali Cultural Program,
Breakfast and Proceed for city Sightseeing covering: Kathmandu Durbar Square- which is also known as Hanuman Dhoka or Kumari temple (Temple of living goddess). In this area you will visit Kumari temple- temple of living goddess, palaces, forts, temples & many more historical sites. Continue UNESCO world heritage sightseeing tour to Swayambhunath Stupa – One of world's most glorious, ancient, and enigmatic and the holiest of Buddhist Chaityas dating back more than 2000 years which is situated on a hillock. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. It offers breathtaking view of whole Kathmandu valley with eastern Himalayan ranges.

Lunch will be served at Chinese/ Thai/ Indian specialty restaurant. After lunch proceed another UNESCO world heritage sites sightseeing tour to Boudthnath Stupa - It is located 7 km East/Northeast of Kathmandu& home to one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world, built during the 5th century AD. Surrounding area of the stupa also known as little Tibet because this area is covered by Tibetan refugees and is one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley.

After sightseeing tour, proceed to visit Thamel market followed by Nepali dinner with traditional cultural dance program. Return to hotel and overnight.

Breakfast at Kathmandu Hotel, Lunch at Chinese or Thai Restaurant & Nepali Dinner with cultural Program.

Day 03: Drive Nagarkot en-route Bhaktapur Durbar Square,
Today, after morning breakfast drive to Nagarkot which is 35 KM away from Kathmandu and takes approx one and half hour drive. En-route visit Patan Durbar Square-Known as the city of art and architecture where you can see Durbar square, stone temple, Buddhist monasteries etc.

Continue sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is richest and nicely preserved among all old three Durbar Square of the valley. At the Durbar Square, you will witness old Palace Complex, Golden gate, 55 Window Palace, Famous 5 Story Nyatapole Temple, big bells, royal bath, numerous Temples and Mini Squares and are the major attractions of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Finally arrive Nagarkot and check into hotel. After get refreshed walk to the roof top area to witness the eastern Himalayan ranges and sunset view. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Nagarkot is considered as one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District which is renowned for its sunrise view at eastern Himalaya ranges of Langtang and Gaurishankar. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley is an international tourist destination for spectacular views of the whole eastern Himalayan ranges.

Breakfast at Hotel, Lunch at Chinese/ Indian/Thai specialty Restaurant & Dinner at the Hotel.

Day 04: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Departure,
Wake up early in the morning and walk to rooftop area to witness the whole eastern Himalayan ranges at sunrise. Breakfast, and proceed to International airport for flight to onward journey. If time permit visit Pashupatinath Temple: The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is situated at the edge of holy Bagmati river where most of the dead bodies of the valley are cremated. Thousands of Hindu pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as “The Temple of Living Beings”.

After Pashupatinath visit proceed to International Airport for onward flight to your home with Sweet memories of Naturally Nepal.

You will get good hotels and restaurant during your journey. You will get chance to have all types of food; Nepali, India, European, Continental, Chinese etc. If your meals are covered by Fishtail Tours, we will take you for your meals plan and if you are paying by yourself, our tour escort(s) will recommend as regarding your taste and budget.

All types of hotels; normal, two star, three star, 4 star, 5 star, traditional and boutique etc. are available during your journey. We basically work above Three Star property because price is normally same and there is no complain in the services.
